I am originally from Beaufort, SC. I married my husband Chris Davis while he was serving in the Marine Corps. We have three wonderful children — our daughter is 27 and serves in the Navy, our oldest son is 24 and serves in the Army, and our youngest son is 17 and is a senior at Richlands High School. We also have a sweet 4-year-old grandson. I am currently employed as an EC teacher assistant with Onslow County Schools.

 

My family and I moved to Richlands, NC in 2010 when my husband was stationed at Camp Lejeune, and we've loved it here for over 16 years. I started serving with the Blessing Shed after meeting Amanda and hearing her heart for helping people in our community who were struggling with food insecurity and basic hygiene needs. I was instantly inspired and wanted to be a part of her team. I simply love serving with the wonderful volunteers of the Blessing Shed because they are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus in the Richlands community, and I could not be more thankful to serve alongside them.
